CLAP!
CASA AM_Home Office, 2022
Salamanca district, Madrid
THE STARTING POINT
This house is located in the Salamanca district and was built in 1926. Isabel needed a place to work remotely within the single-family home.
THE CHALLENGE
To make it a welcoming, comfortable place with natural light.
THE RESULT
A workspace suspended above the roof makes the most of the available height. Through a structural intervention, the wooden slats are anchored to the roof slab. The curve adapts to the space, creating a unique form.
The result is an ergonomic wooden workspace complemented by Vitra furniture and accessories that enhance these features. The Velux window in the roof allows natural light into the space.
